West of Trail - Flower Streets

West of Trail - Flower Streets

Come for the location, stay for the community

A wonderful little nook of west of trail just south of downtown are The Flower Streets: Rose, Goldenrod, Bougainvillea, Datura, Wisteria, Oleander, Clematis, and Hibiscus.

Nestled in to the West of Trail enclaves just south of downtown is the non-waterfront Flower Streets, so named for many beautiful flowers native to our area. While the Flower Streets are not waterfront, their location remains highly desirable for Sarasotans of all ages, due to the extremely desirable school district and walkable proximity to Southside Village & Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

The homes located range from old-world Florida bungalows to contemporary estates to Mediterranean-style villas, and the prices vary almost as much. This land was originally almost exclusively small cottages, many of which are ripe for investing: older homes that have not been redone to keep up with the times are frequently sold for lot-value so someone new can build their dream home in the ideal location.

What’s wonderful about this neighborhood is the feeling you get when you’re in it: parents holding children’s hands as they walk to school, runners and bikers enjoying the weather, and unique and beautiful homes at every turn.

Price Range: $700,000+
